Lewis Marsh Claims Kent Table Tennis Championship
Lewis played in the Kent Championships recently in Canterbury and won the junior event. He won his three group matches and had a bye in the second round before beating the UK number 3 under 13 player. Lewis won his final so he is on target to get his national ranking up into the top 40. Lewis has additional time to devote to his table tennis through a carefully planned timetable that allows him to focus on his sport and balance his academic study.

Impressive County Debut for Ollie Scott
Year 7 student, Ollie Scott, made his Kent debut in Horspath, Oxfordshire on Saturday 7th December when he took part in the inter-counties’ cross-country race. There were ten counties taking part in the under 13 category and Ollie took part in a strong field of around on hundred athletes who had to tackle an undulating and wet 3-kilometre course.
Ollie finished in a credible 17th position for a first-year athlete and was the second scorer for the Kent Team. The team came fourth and narrowly missed out on a bronze medal. Ollie has been working really hard on his running since he joined us in September and now trains regularly on a Wednesday afternoon with our elite Athletics Academy. He is also a member of Invicta East Kent Athletics Club.
