    Academy Content:

In recent years, both schools have enjoyed considerable success in county competitions.

The Canterbury Academy have won the KSCA county cup for three years in a row and made the final of a national under 17 cup in 2022. The Langton have won the KSCA county cup regularly and won the KSCA League in 2024.

Players on this academy receive regular coaching from coaches with experience in the professional game and Kent League cricket. Training takes place in professional facilities at Polo Farm and Kent Cricket Club. We are considering providing a girls’ academy in future years to cater for the growth in the women’s’ game.

Several players have represented their country in recent year and ex-Canterbury Academy student, Jaydn Denly was awarded with a professional contract by Kent Cricket in 2024. In order to gain a place on this programme, players may be asked to trial and they will need to be playing regular club cricket.
