There are no entry requirements for this course. We will also support students to re-take their GCSE mathematics and/or English if required.

Course Content:
Units will include learning about the different types of businesses and their characteristics, marketing, finance, business planning and will include a practical element in which students will make and design their own skateboards from scratch. The aim is for the students to set up their own business venture selling the products that they make during the course and to provide them with the skills to continue this for the future.

This course will provide students with the support and knowledge for them to set up their own business enterprise, as well as providing practical skills to be able to make their own products to sell.
Academic
The qualification will allow learners to progress to further Level 3 qualifications and A Levels such as:
- NCFE Level 3 Certificate in principles of business and administration.
- NCFE Level 3 NVQ Certificate in business and administration.
- NCFE Level 3 Certificate or Diploma in managing a music business enterprise
