Parent Forum Meetings
Every term we have a Parent Forum meeting where different stakeholders work together to improve and feedback about SEND, to ensure inclusion for everyone.
Previous meetings have included feedback about SEND identification, SEND support and communication, access arrangements for exams and many more areas.
This is on-going to ensure we all work together to ensure our students get the very best provision and education at The Canterbury Academy.
Student Passports
Every student of SEND has a student passport which states the needs and strategies needed to support the student. The student passport is discussed and updated with the student and shared with parents. We work together to ensure the student receives the best provision and support to achieve their absolute best. The student passports are on a live spreadsheet for all staff to access and ensure provision is in place and that we all work together.
