The Canterbury Academy is committed to providing all our students with the very best education, whilst celebrating every child’s uniqueness, passions, gifts and talents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At The Canterbury Academy we foster an environment where students value their education, grow in confidence and ambition, and are inspired to develop their talents and passions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our ambitious curriculum allows our students to experience a wealth of opportunities and participate in subjects from across our four pillars of excellence: Academic Learning, Performing Arts, Practical Learning and Enterprise Education, and Sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are a fully inclusive school, providing three specialist resourced based provisions in autism, speech, language and communication need and for young people who are hearing impaired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We strive to ensure that all students are supported and encouraged, to discover and refine their talents and be the best they can be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We pride ourselves in excellent pastoral care, providing extensive support for our students, especially those new to the school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have a wide range of specialist staff to support students who need additional help as well as dedicated non-teaching pastoral staff to help manage any day-to-day worries and concerns of parents and children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are immensely proud of our beautiful community campus and incredible facilities. However, our absolute best asset is our students, and I would encourage you to visit the school to experience the warmth, sense of purpose and energy that characterise a typical school day for us here at The Canterbury Academy.
