The second task is focused on how a theme reflected in the extract is explored elsewhere in the play.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-advanced-heading uagb-block-ddf72cdd\"><h5 class=\"uagb-heading-text\">Section B: <\/h5><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u2018Animal Farm\u2019 Post-1914 British play or novel: ONE essay question.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Assessed<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The total number of marks available is 80.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assessment duration: 1 hour and 45 minutes.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Closed book (texts are not allowed in the examination).&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Component 2: 19th-century Novel and Poetry since 1789&nbsp;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Section A: <\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>19th-century novel: a two-part question, with the first part focussed on an extract of approximately 400 words. The second part is an essay question exploring the whole text.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-advanced-heading uagb-block-1defd174\"><h5 class=\"uagb-heading-text\">Section B:<\/h5><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ONE question comparing a named poem from the Pearson Poetry Anthology collection to another poem from that collection.
