The Cullum Centre<\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Cullum Centre is a specialist resource provision (SRP) at The Canterbury Primary School for children aged 4-11 years old with a primary diagnosis of Autism. The provision was built in collaboration with The Cullum Family Trust and The National Autistic Society and is the first of its kind in the UK. It is designed to meet the additional needs of children, who without such provision, may not be able to access a mainstream school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"The<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

As part of the collaborative work with The National Autistic Society, the Centre provides specialist support for students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Centre is part of the National Autistic Society supported strategy, receiving regular autism-specific training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The school is working towards gaining full Autism Accreditation from the National Autistic Society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a national network of primary and secondary Cullum Centres who work collaboratively to provide the best education for children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Admission to the Cullum Centre is overseen by Kent County Council\u2019s SEND team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
